HTML


HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.

It describes the structure of web documents and some behavioral characteristics. All web browsers are able to understand and interpret HTML. Basically HTML is what makes web sites possible.

You can create web pages with out knowing HTML using WYSIWYG editors like Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia DreamWeaver.
