Yes, if it's installed and enabled. If you're asking about cPanel on Linux, then yes they do support it, but you have to enable an SSH shell for the cPanel accounts for it to work. If you don't want to allow actual SSH access with SFTP, then there are a few login shell binaries that you can use to block that (rssh being one).
