Web hosting control panels are software installed on your web host's server. The control panel gives you, the customer, more control over your web hosting account. By utilizing the built-in features of the control panel, you'll be able to read email, add and remove email accounts, set up FTP accounts, change passwords, add or remove mySQL databases, and more.

There are many different types of control panels available today and its always best to choose the one that best suits your needs.
